(Clash of the Titans. Well, that was fun.)

Happy Easter day my friends! First off I want to talk about my puppy, Emma. Many of you already know my Golden Retriever and that she may possibly be the greatest dog to ever bark and run on this planet. And she also has a knack for discovery too. In fact, it was just a couple of weeks ago that my red-headed 13-year-young spry puppy discovered that bagels grow in our back yard. The legend started like this…I was merely attempting to lure her inside the house (from a much-deserved “health break” after her dinner) and my sweet-talk just wasn’t working. So, I tried to bribe her. With a bagel….

(Welcome to the major leagues, rookie.)

Oddly enough I have another great passion besides Survivor and running. I heart baseball. And watching Russell and BR go at it this week was like watching one of the best managed games I have ever witnessed. First off, BR shows his disdain for the rookie by referencing how he’s in the big leagues now – and thus making the statement that he’s playing with the best of the best. No matter what you think of Russell, you can’t for one second not respect his game playing abilities and not place him in the upper echelon of players from all 19 prior seasons. I don’t care that he didn’t win – you just can’t talk about the best without including him. Period. And his extra-inning classic with BR proves this point. They both anticipated each other’s moves and it made for one of the best episodes in years. More on that in a minute…

Well, it’s been a crazy couple of weeks…I started a new role with my company this month and have been training like crazy to get up to speed with it. I’m a national trainer for AT&T if you were wondering…This has put me on the road a couple of weeks and kept me busy but it’s a joy to have my dream job so I can’t complain one bit! I’ve also been hit with some server issues with this site – Our hosting service was hacked and that led to strange things happening with our sites and a couple of hundred other ones. But here’s the good news: I’m BACK and better than ever! I’ll do a short recap of the previous two weeks I missed of Survivor and a full recap of the episode on Wednesday night. Also – if you don’t actually come to this page because you like Survivor but are a running fanatic like me…then great news for you! I’m going to start posting race reviews! These will consist mostly of my marathons and half marathons but also some other distances as well. Ok, enough with the formalities – let’s get back on track with Survivor!
